Images in HTML as fairly simple as it requires very few parts for an image to operate. the src attribute used to display an image to a given webpage is used to direct the url to the image. When coding an image, the coder can also choose to add a description which is viewable when the user hovers over the image using the alt attribute.
A coder can also change the images size through width and height. This function is simple to learn and easy to use when you get a grasp on HTML.
Success and Failure
If your code was successful and you ran the code, you would have found the image that you chose printed to your site. It's really fascinating how HTML operates and how simple it is for people to grasp.
I will use the same cat image from before, however if the code runs properly you should notice a bit of a difference.
The image is a little bit compressed now and that is because of the dimensions I had set the image to. In this example the width was 45px and the height was 70px, which was a lot smaller than the original image. The coder can also use CSS to add a background image to a given page. If the image is smaller than the page, the image will repeat itself until it has reached the end of the page.
<---By clicking this button, you can move onto the third and final stage before the webpage is revealed. Stage three will go over tables and forms which can be used to collect data from people who visit your site.
